Eligibility Requirements	You must be a resident of Mississippi, yourself or a child under 19 years of age, not covered by health insurance (including Medicaid), a US national, citizen, legal alien, or permanent resident, and you must have an annual household income before taxes of less than $18,621 if one person lives in the household; $24,981 if two people live in the household; $31,341 if three people live in the household; $37,701 if four people live in the household; $44,061 if five people live in the household; $50,421 if six people live in the household; $56,781 if seven people live in the household. Eligibility Requirements	Headstart - must be on welfare, child has to be 3-4 years old, based on income head of household Low Income Energy Assistance - Must be low income or disabled.
Documents Required	1. Social Security Cards for everyone in the household. Original Social cards, no copies 2. Birth Certificates for all children ages 0-17 3. Proof of income for each wage earner in the household ages 16 an over, for the past thirty (30) days. Students 18 and over must show proof enrolled in school if not employed. If you receive Social Security, SSI or Disability, you will need your most recent award letter or printout from the Social Security Office. Pregnancy is not a disability. 4. Current utility bill must be in the head of household's name. 5. Copies of all monthly bills, for the purpose of completing a household budget. Receipt for the last month rent was paid and eviction notice 6. Proof that you have registered with Child Support office (written statement within the past 30 days.). Printout from DHS and/or TANF 7. If unemployed, proof that you have registered with the Employment Office/WIN program 8. Photo identification card. 9. Statement from employer if laid-off or terminated. If you have been laid off or terminated you must provide proof that you have been actively seeking work or being assisted with finding employment through local employment service or temporary employment agencies. 10. Food stamp award or denial letter.
